McHenry man arrested on sexual assault charges

A 42-year-old man has been sitting in McHenry County Jail. Steven J. Hubbard was charged on Thursday, August 4th, with two felonies and was advised on his rights by Judge Gordon Graham on Thursday.

Court records indicate that the McHenry Police Department has charged Hubbard with 1st degree and 3rd degree felonies involving Indecent Solicitation of a Child, Predatory, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse with a child (child is defined as a person under the age of 17).

Hubbard's next court date is Tuesday, August 9, at 9:00AM in Judge Prather's courtroom (Room 304). A Motion for Re-assignment is to be heard on that date.

According to Circuit Court online records, Hubbard is represented the law firm of Gummerson Rausch Wand Gray Wombacher, LLC, of Woodstock.

Hubbard has been in custody in the McHenry County Jail, and his bond is set at $10,028.
